GradePod Exam Tip | Topic 6 | Circular Motion and Gravitation
My name is Sally Weatherly and I help students pass IB Physics exams. I’ve been passionate about this goal for a very long time.
One of the biggest mistakes students make when studying Topic 6: Circular Motion and Gravitation, is that they don’t understand the difference between degrees and radians.
There is a very important distinction to be made between these two units of measuring angles. You need to be very clear of the difference between degrees and radians.
Even more important is to make sure that your calculator is set to the correct mode for these calculations. If you have your calculator in the wrong mode, you’re likely to lose all the marks on the calculation in your IB Physics exam paper.
If you need help on the distinction between these two units - pop into Ace Your IB Physics Exams for video tutorials, helpful resources and direct access to me for online support in IB Physics.
